New River Junction

Visit McCoy and rent a tube for a lazy float down the river before riding the rapids at McCoy falls! This place also offers camping and cabin rentals at Big Falls Park.

Sinkland Farms

Sinkland Farms in Riner is a beautiful event space that is available for special events, but they also host 2 amazing festivals each year for the public - the Sunflower Festival in the Spring and the Pumpkin Festival in the Fall.

Beliveau Farm Winery

Drive out past the Ellett Valley to find this hidden gem. Beliveau Farm Winery has a tasting room with limited menu, a gluten-free brewery, gorgeous views, rental space, a bed and breakfast, and regular events.

Huckleberry Trail

The Huckleberry Trail connects Blacksburg to Christiansburg, meandering 15 paved miles through Montgomery County. It's a favorite for walkers, runners, cyclists, and bird watchers.
