The beautiful Bisset Park is an outdoor lover’s dream. It is hugged by a bend in the river and offers great walking/hiking/biking trails, sports facilities, and even tube and canoe rentals.

Glencoe Mansion, Museum and Gallery

Glencoe Mansion features 3 Galleries in one: house museum, history exhibits, and an art gallery. They even have a calendar full of fun events from history walks to live music to artist exhibitions!

Sal’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria

Ask anyone where to grab a bite in Radford, and they will send you to Sal’s. This pizza place has been serving up authentic Italian for over 44 years!

Wildwood Park

Take a break from the river and head into the woods - in the center of Radford! This park has over 50 acres of woodland, hiking, birdwatching, and creek walking.

Longway Brewing

Radford’s first microbrewery - this place serves up delicious beer in a converted church. Enjoy the beer, food trucks, trivia nights, and live music and also feel good knowing that some of the proceeds go to support the Radford Fairlawn Daily Bread - Longway’s co-tenants who provide food to those in need.

Downeydog Yoga

This community-based yoga studio has a home in Radford’s hip downtown. It offers classes for all levels of yogis and even has online offerings.

Radford Coffee Company

This place serves up great coffee, smoothies, breakfast, and lunch in a cool and relaxed atmosphere. They don’t mind if you want a quick cup to-go or if you stay for a long study session. A cut of their proceeds goes to support Project Ezra, a program that provides k-12 education in Miskito, Nicaragua!
