I was an out-of-town seller, which could have made the process frustrating and complicated but Skip was EXCELLENT with communications. In addition, he recommended and coordinated with a team of house- and carpet-cleaners, plumbers and a contractor to get the property in tip-top condition before putting it on the market, saving me so much time and many headaches. I have very little experience with home-selling, and Skip walked me through all the paperwork, explaining everything so I felt knowledgeable and comfortable. And the photographs and interactive floor plans his team produced were gorgeous and I'm sure contributed to the full-price offer we received within days of putting our property up for sale. I can't recommend Skip highly enough!

I had never sold a house or condo in the town and I knew to reach out to Skip Slocum and his team at Nest Realty in Blacksburg. They had the local knowledge and expertise and roots in the community. Skip helped me and my family understand the steps involved and what our expectations were for the sale. Skip helped my family with the comparisons in the area and with getting remedial work done in the condo to prepare it for sale. He also recommended a local law firm to assist with the closing. The condo was on the market for 3 days and we sold it for our asking price. I am indebted to Skip and will certainly look for his services should I require them in the future.
